June 11th Webinar on the Purpose and Demonstration of the AHRQ Health IT Hazard Manager and Next Steps

HHS’s Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality will host a webinar on AHRQ’S Health IT Hazard Manager, June 11 from 2:30-4:00 p.m. ET.  Participants will learn about the motivation for developing AHRQ’s new Health IT Hazard Manager — a tool for identifying, categorizing, and resolving health IT hazards. The tool allows health industry professionals to learn about potential health IT hazards and work to resolve them, including the prospective use of data to communicate potential and actual adverse effects. The session will discuss how the Health IT Hazard Manager was tested and refined as well as strategies and implications for deploying it.  James M. Walker, M.D., FACP, Chief Health Information Officer, Geisinger Health System and Andrea Hassol, M.S.P.H, Principal Associate, Abt Associates, Inc.will be the featured speakers.  This web conference is eligible for CME/CNE Credit.  Participants will earn 1.5 contact credit hours for their participation if they attended the entire Web conference.    To Register: 1.
