Health Call for Proposals in the Areas of Infectious Diseases and Cancer

The e-ASIA Joint Research Program aims to develop a vibrant and collaborative research community in Science and Technology, to promote innovation in the East Asian region, and to contribute to the region’s economic development. As part of the program, the following member organizations of the e-ASIA Joint Research Program have agreed to implement a joint call for proposals of multilateral cooperative research activities: Cambodia (MOH), Indonesia (RISTEKDIKTI), Japan (AMED), Myanmar (MOE), New Zealand (HRC), Philippines (DOST), Russia (RFBR), Thailand (NSTDA), and USA (NIAID, NCI).
The program is accepting proposals in the areas of infectious diseases and cancer. The aim of the joint call is not only to contribute to the development of regional science but also to overcome public health and medical problems in East Asia through multilateral collaboration. Project proposals must be a multilateral collaboration by researchers from three or more of the participating countries listed above. Deadline for submission is April 25, 2018 8 p.m. EDT (or April 26, 2018 at 7 a.m. Thai Standard Time, UTC+7). For more information, see the Guidelines (PDF) and Application Forms(Word).
